Our team of four trainers have been breeding, training and refining German Shepherd bloodlines for over 100 years of combined experience.  Our "least" experienced trainer has 20 years of experience training and handling protection dogs in Germany and Europe and has recently relocated to work in the United States as part of our team.  At Excalibur Estate Dogs, you WILL NOT find inexperienced or green trainers.  What you will find are two of the "founding fathers" of contemporary estate dogs.  When it comes to dogs, we literally cut our teeth training and developing dogs able to strategically interpret every situation and tactically handle all threats.

Our past experiences, combined with our innovative training techniques, make certain that every dog is reliable.  Our combined experience shows the years we have devoted to learning and understanding the different bloodlines from Europe and developing our own selective bloodline.  We have developed our own breeding program using those genetics from Europe that demonstrate the qualities needed for family protection and bodyguard work.  In order to ensure only the best dogs come from Excalibur Estate Dogs, we have spent years on the training field - both enacting real life situations and competing at the highest levels in the Schutzhund sport.  Our training and trips to Europe selecting, raising and training dogs, has brought the very best canine companions that can be found in this industry to our facility.  Our connections in Germany and around Europe are so comprehensive that we are in an extraordinary position to have first pick of the best the breed has to offer for the extremely rigorous demands of estate protection dog training.

Competing in Schutzhund at National and International Levels for so many years has equipped us as skilled trainers that can accurately inform you about the abilities of a dog - whether it is a sport dog or a real protection dog - we can show you the difference and why our estate dogs are truly the most elite protection dogs available for purchase.  We began our life's work training personal protection dogs.  We began competing and winning at the very top levels in Schutzhund to better understand the training techniques to give us the most secure obedience and the safest protection work.  Being involved in the Sport of Schutzhund has given us the skills to install dogs and teach families how to work with and understand the training that comes with an Excalibur dog.  Although we continue to compete in Schutzhund, we spend the majority of our time training real dogs for real situations.  Very few people in this industry have the all-around experience we have - even fewer have the years of experience we do.
